Nutritional Therapist, S.C.E.N.A.R Practitioner, Lecturer at The College of Naturopathic Medicine
Julia's early years gave her first hand experience of suffering from arthritis.
Her symptoms were quite complex, mainly consisting of severe chronic headache, joint pains, muscle aches and extreme tiredness, even walking up the stairs to bed at the age of 8 became difficult.
The reason for these problems
are still unknown but we have our theories.
Nonetheless, Margaret Hills treated her granddaughter as she would any arthritis sufferer and it helped enormously, eventually after about 18 months clearing her symptoms totally.
She has remained well since those days and throughout her adult life and turned this early experience into a great passion for optimal health and wellbeing.
Her own book, Treating Arthritis The Supplements Guide, was published in Summer 2012. It helps to clarify the various causes, contributory factors and treatment methods for individuals with arthritis. Each case is different from the next and this book shows you the best course of action for yourself and how to piece together a firm understanding of your own particular condition.
Julia holds consultations and also runs a free drop-in session at our shop every Thursday morning 9-11 to help point people in the right direction for any health problem they may have.
Julia practices the pain relief treatment known as S.C.E.N.A.R. and is available for personal consultations.
